SOMA YBH an affiliate of Stanford Hotels (“Company”) have over 30 years of hospitality development and management experience. The Company business was established in 1987, and was originally headquartered in the South of Market neighborhood in San Francisco. Our current operating hotel portfolio consists of 13 existing full service hotels, with over 4,000 rooms across 7 states all of which are 100 percent privately-owned and operated. We employ over 2,000 people in aggregate nationally. Our development pipeline and recently completed projects include urban infill construction in San Francisco, Washington D.C. and Seattle. We have established a successful track record as owners and operators under various national brands including Hilton and Marriott.

CHINATOWN CDC

On April 1, 1977, five grassroots organizations – focused on affordable housing creation and preservation, community facilities, transit access, and open space access – came together and created the Chinatown Community Development Center. Over the years, Chinatown CDC has become a leader in the areas of community planning and empowerment, youth leadership development, and housing and related services for low income San Franciscans, with particular focus on Chinatown. Our work is focused on the following program areas:
